As co-owners and brokers of Your H.O.M.E. Team—an acronym for Home Ownership Made Easy—these two dynamic women lead a thriving business under the KW Elite brokerage, driven by heart, hustle, and a passion for helping others achieve their homeownership dreams.
Finding Real Estate Through Life’s Turning Points
Both licensed in 2012, Lesley and Nicole took different paths into real estate, but found a shared calling in guiding clients through some of life’s most important milestones.
“I had worked in jewelry sales for ten years and thought I wanted to be a stay-at-home mom,” Lesley recalls. “But after my daughter was born in 2012, I realized that wasn’t quite the right fit for me. I started working as a transaction coordinator and quickly fell in love with the business.”
Nicole, on the other hand, spent 15 years in the defense industry, working in software and traveling frequently. With three young boys at home, she craved more time with family. “I dipped my toes into real estate while still working full time, and within nine months, I knew it was where I belonged,” she says.
A Partnership Built on Balance
The two joined forces officially on January 1, 2014, forming Your H.O.M.E. Team, and quickly built a reputation for professionalism and authenticity. What makes their partnership work? Their differences.
“Nicole and I operate completely differently,” Lesley laughs. “I use a paper calendar. She’s all digital. We appeal to a broad range of clients because of that contrast—we really balance each other out.”
Nicole agrees, noting her strengths lie in organization and strategic planning, while Lesley thrives on building relationships and supporting clients emotionally during high-stakes moments.
A Team with Depth and Heart
Together, they lead a full-service team of agents: Heather, Jason, Jolene, Chris, Nee-c, and Brian. In addition to managing their own business, Lesley and Nicole also oversee productivity coaching at KW Elite, mentoring 35 to 45 new agents at any given time.
In 2024 alone, Your H.O.M.E. Team closed 112 units for over $32 million in sales—a testament to their dedication, teamwork, and client-first mindset.
Client Care Comes First
“Almost 82% of our business comes from referrals,” Lesley says. “That speaks volumes about how we treat our clients. We want to be there for them long after the sale is complete.”
What clients might not see, however, is just how much work goes on behind the scenes.
“This isn’t the glamour you see on TV,” Nicole emphasizes. “There are constant hurdles—no two transactions are the same. But I love the problem-solving aspect of it. We’re always finding solutions so our clients don’t have to stress.”
Lesley adds, “We believe in being honest—even when it’s not what someone wants to hear. That honesty builds trust, and that’s why people come back to us or refer us to their friends.”
Rooted in Family and Community
For both women, their families remain at the center of their lives. Lesley and her husband Samuel have been married for 15 years and have two daughters: 13-year-old Adelyn and 9-year-old Sadie. Nicole has been married to her husband Joshua for 20 years. Their sons—Phoenix (17), and 16-year-old twins Raiden and Joshua Jr.—keep them busy with competitive basketball, football, and track meets.
Despite full schedules, they both carve out time for personal passions. Lesley is a CASA volunteer and supports her daughters in gymnastics and cheer. She also enjoys baking and working out. Nicole loves to cook and cherishes beach vacations with her family.
Leaders Who Lift Others Up
Another important aspect of their work is coaching. Nicole and Lesley don’t just lead their own team—they’re committed to developing the next generation of real estate professionals.
“Coaching new agents is a big part of our business and our hearts,” Nicole shares. “We genuinely enjoy helping them launch successful careers. Real estate can be overwhelming at first, and we want to make it easier—just like we do for our clients.”
Advice for Aspiring Agents
When asked what advice they would give to someone considering a career in real estate, both women emphasize consistency and integrity.
“It’s a business where you have to be consistent and feed it constantly,” Nicole says. “It’s not the glamour you see on TV. It’s a lot of work and dedication behind the scenes. You have to be prepared to do all of that consistently to have success.”
Lesley adds, “Being honest is very important. Don’t just tell people what they want to hear. That honesty will take you far.”
