As a seasoned real estate agent with Keller Williams Central Oklahoma, Wrenda Cockrell has built a thriving career by focusing on people first. Her journey into real estate was years in the making, but once she took the leap, she never looked back.

A Natural Transition into Real Estate

Wrenda always had a passion for real estate, but for 17 years, she dedicated her time to working as an assistant director for a daycare. While she loved working with children and families, the pull toward real estate never faded.

“My husband encouraged me to finally take the plunge,” Wrenda recalls. “I had always wanted to do real estate, and with his support, I decided to go for it.”

That decision proved to be the right one. Growing up in Edmond, Wrenda had built a strong network of connections. When she entered the real estate world, she hit the ground running. “I capped my first year,” she says proudly, a testament to both her dedication and the strength of the relationships she had cultivated over the years.

Driven by Relationships

At the heart of Wrenda’s business is a simple but powerful motivation: people.

“I love the people,” she says. “I’m a people person, and the friendships I’ve made through the years mean a lot to me.”

Her business is largely fueled by referrals and repeat clients, a reflection of the trust she’s built within her community. Whether she’s helping a family find their first home or working with a buyer to secure their dream piece of land, the joy of seeing her clients succeed keeps her going.

“I do a lot of land sales,” she explains. “It’s a great feeling helping people get their dream location.”

Family First

Beyond her successful real estate career, Wrenda’s heart belongs to her family. She and her husband, Jerry, have been married for 30 years. Recently retired, Jerry enjoys spending time with Wrenda and supporting their growing family.

Together, they have three children and nine grandchildren, and Wrenda is heavily involved in all of their sports and activities. “Family means everything to me,” she says. “We love cheering them on and being part of their lives.”

The Power of a Strong Team

Though Wrenda is an individual agent, she relies on a dedicated support team to keep things running smoothly. “I couldn’t do what I do without them,” she says.

Her team includes Jenny Espinzo, her administrative assistant, who helps with the day-to-day operations. Kate Smith and family manages all of her social media and mailouts while also handling sign placements across the five different neighborhoods Wrenda serves. Adriana Bowers, her transaction coordinator, ensures every deal is handled seamlessly from contract to closing.

“Having the right people in place makes all the difference,” Wrenda notes. “They allow me to focus on what I do best—helping my clients.”

Advice for Aspiring Agents

With years of experience in the industry, Wrenda is passionate about mentoring new agents. Her biggest piece of advice? “Get a good mentor.”

She believes that learning from experienced professionals is key to success. “I love helping new agents,” she says. “It’s important to have someone guide you and answer your questions.”

She also emphasizes the importance of professionalism and consistency. “Answer your phone,” she advises. “And treat it as a 9-to-5 job. It helps me to go into the office so that I don’t get sidetracked by other things.”

The Legacy She Hopes to Leave

For Wrenda, real estate is more than just a career—it’s a way to build lasting relationships.

“I hope my clients think of me as a friend and someone they can count on later,” she says. “They know that I am dedicated to helping them in real estate.”

With a business built on trust, dedication, and a genuine love for helping people, Wrenda Cockrell continues to make a meaningful impact in the lives of her clients and community.
