"Anything worth having takes time."

These wise words perfectly encapsulate the drive and determination of Top Producer Angie Baird, owner of Forge Realty Group. With a passion for business, an innate talent for sales, and a commitment to service, Angie has built an impressive career in real estate—one that continues to inspire those around her.

From Sales to Success

Sales have always come naturally to Angie. While working as a marketing manager for ClimateMaster, a geothermal heat pump company, she discovered her gift for selling. However, it was a side venture in Mary Kay that truly showcased her potential. "While my husband finished his pharmacy degree, I sold Mary Kay to supplement our income," she recalls. "Within just a few months, I had recruited a team and won a red Grand Am."

That early success set the stage for her future in business. Angie’s professional journey took her through multiple roles, from serving as a church publications and music secretary to becoming the director of business at Christian Heritage Academy. But her passion for homes never faded.

"One of my favorite pastimes was looking at houses with my mom," she says. "We loved going to open houses, gathering inspiration, and imagining possibilities. Becoming a real estate agent was always a dream."

Building a Thriving Career

In July 2016, Angie took a leap of faith. She left her job at Christian Heritage Academy and pursued real estate full-time. "I knew I had to replace my income quickly, and I was determined not to fail,” she explains. "I completed my real estate course in one month, got my license the next, and within four months, I sold three homes totaling over $1.5 million. It was a huge answer to prayer."

Her drive paid off. Today, with 8.5 years in the business, Angie has sold over 460 homes, surpassing $107 million in career volume. In 2021, she achieved her biggest year yet—selling 100 homes.

The Birth of Forge Realty Group

Angie’s entrepreneurial spirit led her to another bold move—founding her own brokerage. In October 2024, while showing an investor a 4,300-square-foot office space, inspiration struck. "I realized it was the perfect real estate office," she says. "The buyer wasn’t interested, but I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I brought my family and a few of my colleagues to see it and the idea took hold."

At 50, Angie decided it was time to forge her own path. "We brainstormed for hours and landed on the name Forge Realty Group—meaning to create something through concentrated effort," she shares. Her daughter, a marketing graduate, helped design the logo and branding.

The move was a resounding success. Three agents and two Transaction Coordinators from her previous brokerage followed her, and within months, Forge Realty Group had grown to include two additional agents and an office manager.

"Starting a business takes faith. I pray every day that God will bless my efforts, and I couldn’t succeed without His help."

Passion and Purpose

For Angie, success isn’t just about numbers. "It’s about believing in yourself and empowering others to do the same," she says. "I set big goals because I know that aiming high leads to incredible achievements."

One of her favorite quotes from Zig Ziglar resonates deeply: "If you aim at nothing, you’ll hit it every time." Angie believes in setting a clear vision and taking intentional steps toward success.

She also has a heart for veterans. "Sixty percent of my business is VA loans. I love helping veterans find their family homes," she says. "They rely on us to be their eyes and ears, and I take that responsibility seriously."

Family and Life Beyond Real Estate

Angie and her husband, Jason, have been married for 29 years. Their daughters, Emma (25) and Lindsey (23), are an integral part of Forge Realty Group—Emma serves as the office manager, and Lindsey is an agent. The family shares a deep love for Lake Eufaula, where they recently achieved a lifelong dream. "We always wanted to invest in a place where we could relax and spend quality time together," Angie shares. "In 2021, we bought a surf boat, and in 2024, at 50, we finally closed on our lake house."

Excitingly, Angie and Jason will soon become grandparents. "Emma and her husband, Cooper, are expecting our first grandbaby, Ever Jane, in May," she beams. "She’s named after my mom, and we can’t wait to make memories with her at the lake."

Words of Wisdom

For aspiring top producers, Angie’s advice is simple but powerful: "Anything worth having is worth fighting for. Real estate is about building relationships and truly caring for your clients. If you invest in them, they will become the heartbeat of your business. Never give up on your dreams."

Despite her success, Angie remains grounded. "People might not know this about me, but while I’m an extrovert in business, at home, I’m quiet. My home is my escape—a place to recharge."

Driven by faith, family, and an unyielding work ethic, Angie Baird continues to forge ahead—creating opportunities, inspiring others, and proving that with determination, anything is possible.
