Based in Oklahoma and representing eXp Realty, Lenlie Foster’s journey from the world of corporate print sales to becoming a full-time real estate agent in 2021 is a story of timing, faith, and fierce dedication to serving others.

“I was calling on large corporate banks in my previous job,” she recalls. “Our youngest was graduating from high school, and I just knew it was time to do something else.” With encouragement from a friend already thriving in the real estate world, Lenlie made the leap, earning her license in February 2019. She juggled real estate part-time while wrapping up her corporate career before fully committing in early 2021.

She hasn’t looked back since.

More Than a Transaction

While many see real estate as a numbers game, Lenlie approaches her work with a relational mindset.

“Real estate is more about the experience my client is going through and less about the transaction,” she says. “I want every client to feel like they’re my only client. That’s what white-glove service looks like to me.”

Whether her clients are upsizing, downsizing, going through a divorce, or buying a vacation home, Lenlie sees her role as part guide, part advocate. “Every client has a story. Life changes can be overwhelming, but walking them through that experience—helping with what they don’t know—is what drives me.”

Systems, Support, and a Stellar Rolodex

Lenlie credits much of her success to her tightly knit team and the systems she’s put in place. “I have an outstanding transaction coordinator, a knowledgeable broker, a fantastic lender, and so many others behind the scenes,” she explains. “My secret weapon? My rolodex. I believe a Realtor is only as good as their network.”

That network includes everyone from home stagers and inspectors to contractors and cleaning crews. Lenlie ensures her clients are taken care of from pre-listing to post-closing. “I’ve built relationships with people I trust, and that makes the process smooth for my clients.”

Faith, Family, and the Foster Way

Rooted in strong faith and family values, Lenlie brings authenticity to everything she does. “I put God first and work to be a reflection of that in my business and life,” she says.

Her husband, Ron, is her biggest cheerleader, and together they enjoy time at their home on Grand Lake, surrounded by children and grandchildren. “We’re always on the water, doing water sports, laughing, spending time as a family. Those are the moments that fill me up.”

Her family is a source of strength and pride. Daughter Shelbie, who works for a local bank, is married to Jake. Son Hunter recently graduated from law school and launched his career in Washington, D.C. Lenlie also has three bonus sons and bonus grandsons. “Being a grandmother to Eli and Grace is one of my greatest joys,” she beams.

A Realtor for Life

To Lenlie, closing a deal isn’t the end—it’s the beginning of a lasting relationship. “Once I’ve had a transaction with someone, they get me for life,” she says. “I see their kids’ back-to-school photos, help with their fundraisers, and stay in touch for years. I like to do life with them.”

That personal touch sets her apart. Her clients know they can call her anytime with questions—whether they’re considering a remodel, looking for a contractor, or thinking about a second property. She doesn’t just sell homes; she builds community.

Advice to Aspiring Agents

For those entering the business, Lenlie offers this advice: “Figure out who your alpha client is, then market to them and have solutions tailored for them.” Whether it’s first-time buyers, luxury home clients, or those going through major life transitions, understanding and serving a niche can be key to longevity in the business.

Looking Ahead

As she looks toward the future, Lenlie is excited to continue growing her business while maintaining the personal touch that has become her signature. Her work isn’t about the next sale—it’s about the next story, the next relationship, the next opportunity to serve.

“There’s just so much joy in what I do,” she says. “I’ve loved every moment.”
