Kingdom Inspections

When George Carpenter retired from the U.S. Air Force, he found himself at a crossroads familiar to many veterans: What’s next? After years of dedicated service, he knew he wanted his next chapter to combine purpose, integrity, and service to others. What he didn’t realize was that a passing comment years earlier—made by a home inspector in San Antonio—would eventually inspire a new mission built on both craftsmanship and calling.

A Divine Nudge Toward a New Direction

“I remember when I was buying a home while stationed in San Antonio,” George recalls with a laugh. “The inspector looked at me halfway through the inspection and said, ‘Dude, why aren’t you a home inspector? You’re catching everything!’”

That offhand remark stuck with him. Years later, as George prayed about what to do after his military career, that moment resurfaced. “I really felt the Lord brought that conversation back to me,” he says. “So, I decided to take a serious look at home inspections.”

George dove in headfirst—earning his license while still active duty and shadowing another inspection company to learn the trade. After a year and a half of hands-on experience, he launched Kingdom Inspections, a company built as much on faith and service as on skill.

By Understanding, a House Is Established

The name “Kingdom Inspections” wasn’t chosen by accident. George drew inspiration from Proverbs 24:3—“By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established.” For him, that verse captures both the technical and spiritual essence of his work.

“That verse for me speaks to the way we help clients establish their understanding on the current condition of the property. The business allows me to do ministry without worrying about revenue from it,” he explains. “God named us this and provides the income through my work, so I can focus on helping people and serving Him not only through inspections but in evangelism also.”

It’s an approach that has resonated deeply with clients. From first-time buyers to seasoned homeowners, people turn to Kingdom Inspections not only for their thorough reports but for the reassurance that comes from working with someone who genuinely cares about their understanding and peace of mind.

More Than an Inspection—It’s Education

When asked what he loves most about his work, George doesn’t hesitate. “I love meeting people and helping them understand exactly what they’re getting,” he says. “Sometimes that means telling them things they don’t want to hear—but I know I’m protecting them, and that’s what matters.”

Kingdom Inspections is known for its exceptionally detailed reports and approachable communication style. “We take time to break things down for clients,” George explains. “For example, when people hear they have a ‘split roof rafter,’ they panic. But once I explain it’s a simple 15-minute repair with a two-by-four, they relax.”

That kind of plainspoken expertise—grounded in both wisdom and compassion—sets Kingdom Inspections apart in an industry where jargon can often leave homeowners overwhelmed.

A One-Stop Shop with Trusted Partners

While Kingdom Inspections offers a comprehensive range of services—covering wells, septic systems, sewer scoping, HVAC checks, outbuildings, and even air quality sampling—George is also clear about knowing his limits.

“We don’t do termite inspections or pool inspections ourselves,” he says. “Those areas require specialists, and I believe in letting the professionals handle them.”

Instead, George coordinates with trusted local partners so that clients still get a seamless, all-in-one experience. “We’ll set it all up so everyone’s there at the same time,” he explains. “For pools, we work with a builder who charges just a little more than we did before, but he brings a much deeper level of expertise. Same with our termite partners—they’re the ones who’ll actually treat any issues, so it makes sense to let them do the inspection.”

Kingdom Inspections also partners with a Florida-based lab to analyze air quality samples. “The reports come back with visuals and explanations that make it easy for clients to understand,” George says. “We want everything to be as eye-pleasing and user-friendly as possible.”

Integrity in Every Detail

Ask George what defines him as a business owner, and you’ll hear a word that comes up again and again: integrity.

“I want to be known as a man of integrity and a man after God’s own heart,” he says thoughtfully. “That means being honest even when it’s not convenient. Sometimes people want you to bend a little, but I believe in holding the line and doing what’s right. Integrity matters more than a quick sale.”

That conviction shines through not only in his professional life but in his relationships with clients, many of whom describe him as both trustworthy and approachable—a steady presence in what can be one of the most stressful parts of buying a home.

Faith, Family, and Fairways

When he’s not inspecting homes, George enjoys a mix of ministry, family time, and (as he jokes) a long-term learning curve on the golf course. “I’ve been in the process of learning golf for years,” he says with a grin. “But I’m finally getting serious about it.”

George and his wife Cathy—spelled with a “C,” he’s quick to note—were married in 1996 and will celebrate their 29th anniversary this October. Together they’ve raised three children: Kelsie, who’s married to Brett and lives in Midwest City; Katelynn, who works at Lowe’s; and Matthew, their youngest, who helps with ancillary work for Kingdom Inspections, handling sewer scopes and floor duct inspections.

Faith and family are the anchors of George’s life. His work in ministry and evangelism keeps him deeply connected to his community, and his business gives him another way to serve.

Trusted Expertise

From the Air Force to home foundations, George Carpenter’s journey has been one of service, integrity, and faith. Through Kingdom Inspections, he’s created a company where every report is more than a checklist—it’s a promise of honesty, care, and understanding.

“I just want people to know that I’m here to help,” he says. “Whether it’s explaining a roof repair or guiding them through an inspection, I want them to walk away confident and informed. At the end of the day, it’s about protecting people and honoring God through the work we do.”
