She Has Helped Over 125 Families in Four Years!
You name it – Sasha Zambrano has done it. Nurse’s aide at the age of 16? Check. Medication aide? Completed. Medical assistant? Yep. LPN? Absolutely. Real estate? That one wasn’t even on her radar… until life had other plans.
Fast forward to today: Sasha has helped over 125 families find their homes, managing $34 million in career volume—$9 million last year alone. Four years, 125 homes, countless futures changed.
This Oklahoma native started her career in healthcare. From nurse’s aide to LPN, she didn’t see herself doing anything else. But when her husband’s Navy career took them across the globe, she hit pause on her own career.
“We started moving around, and I didn’t work for a long time,” she says. In 2020 came the spark: helping her grandmother, a REALTOR® of 40+ years, with clerical work. It was also the perfect job opportunity for Sasha, who had two young boys and needed flexibility. “I never thought I’d be in real estate,” Sasha admits. That “helping hand” turned into a career that quickly became her calling as Sasha got her license in 2021.
“She had a plan I didn’t know about,” she smiles. Her grandmother retired, and Sasha had a new career on her hands. The idea of real estate wasn’t entirely new to her, however. “My Mom has worked in escrow and title for 45 years,” she shares. “I remember coloring while sitting at closing tables as a child,” she smiles.
This year, she earned her broker’s license, expanding her reach beyond transactions by mentoring, advocating, and raising the bar for accountability in the industry. What’s next? I thought, “I can give more to the real estate community than just production. So I’m still praying about that and considering ways to serve in a greater capacity, whether through my brokerage, a committee, or our local board.”
Advocating for Others
What’s Sasha passionate about? “So many things,” she laughs. But one thing that she is certain about is advocating for others. “That’s what I liked in the healthcare field. I was an advocate for people. In the clinic, it was for patients, providers, or fellow staff members. That’s a passion of mine.” Putting others first hasn’t changed for Sasha. That quality has made her a standout agent. Now she advocates for clients all the way to the closing table, overcoming any obstacle in her path.
She takes her role as a REALTOR® very seriously. “When we are experts in our field, it should work as a well-oiled machine for our clients with accountability and communication.”
Fortunately, moving to Heather & Company Realty Group helped make her job easier. “They have that joyful collaboration,” she points out. “That makes a huge difference.”
As someone new to the real estate scene, she has learned a lot. “Keep learning and better yourself for your clients,” she says. “Don’t get caught up in comparisons or chasing the quick win. Stay true to you and build relationships. Always chase excellence.”
Her favorite quote says it all: “Integrity never runs out of style,” by Jim George. There are no shortcuts to success. And as Sasha says, “Your actions speak louder than anything.” Living a life that she is proud of, treating clients well, and being in real estate for the long haul is what it is all about for her.
Family Matters
When Sasha isn’t working, she treasures time with her husband, Jesse. This year, they are celebrating their 12th anniversary and couldn’t be happier. Now that Jesse is retired after 21 years of service from the Navy, they are geographically more together than all their years apart. “That’s really exciting,” says Sasha. Currently, Jesse is pursuing his second bachelor’s degree at the University of Oklahoma and Sasha is very thankful for his support.
“He’s the best stay-at-home dad and husband in the world,” raves Sasha. “He keeps everyone on track, including me.” They are blessed with two children, Mateo (10) and Rio (6).
Mateo, 10, is an avid reader who loves to swim, play video games, and be surrounded by family and friends. “He’s a people person.” Rio, 6, wants to be a YouTuber and loves swimming and playdates with his buddies. As a family, the Zambranos love joking, pranking (they’ve got jump scares covered!), shooting hoops in the driveway or pool, and taking road trips together.
As for Sasha, she’s a self-described homebody. “I love a good morning with a cup of coffee,” she smiles. She also likes crochet projects for friends and listening to audiobooks. She’s also a champion napper. “I will nap any chance I get. Give me a blanket and pillow, and I’m out,” she jokes. “I won’t turn into Betty White,” she laughs.
What many don’t know? She shot her first deer at age 12, has traveled to 48 states, and once toured Europe as part of the Oklahoma Ambassadors of Music, playing clarinet, tuba, bassoon, and bass drum. Life abroad with her husband, including living in Spain, gave her even more opportunities to explore.
Final Thoughts
From the clinic to the closing table, Sasha Zambrano has built her career on one unshakable foundation: helping people. With over 125 families served and countless lives touched, she’s making a genuine difference each day, living with impact and propelled by purpose. And that is priceless.
