For Kim Llewelyn, real estate is more than just a career—it’s a calling. As broker-owner of Stellar Realty, Kim blends a lifelong love of homes, a heart for service, and a deep faith into everything she does. Her journey from CPA to teacher to thriving real estate leader is marked by an unwavering commitment to excellence—and to people.

“I’ve always loved real estate,” she says. “Even as a teenager, I was reading the real estate section of the newspaper, absorbing marketing tips and success stories. That passion never left me.”

It wasn’t until after raising two children and building a career in business and education that Kim finally gave herself permission to chase her dream. “In 2006, after our kids graduated, my husband, Dan, encouraged me to go for it. I was hesitant, thinking maybe it was too late—but it was always on my bucket list.”

 

Stellar Service from the Start

Kim didn’t just “go for it”—she soared. In her first six months as a real estate agent, she closed over $2 million in sales, with average home prices around $175,000 at the time. It was clear she had found her niche.

That momentum inspired the launch of Stellar Realty, a boutique brokerage with a bold philosophy: service over sales, people over profit.

“We mean that sincerely,” Kim explains. “It’s not always easy, but it’s what brings the deepest rewards. Our mission is to wow our clients with service that goes above and beyond—strategically, thoughtfully, and wholeheartedly.”

And the results speak for themselves. In May alone, Kim personally closed nearly $5 million in residential sales, a testament to her tireless work ethic, trusted relationships, and ability to navigate a shifting market with grace.

 

A Team with Heart

While Stellar may be small, its impact is anything but. The close-knit team is handpicked for their integrity, energy, and commitment to serving clients at the highest level.

“There’s a special energy here,” Kim says. “It’s the most cohesive team I’ve ever mentored.”

Faith, Family, and Foundations

Kim’s life is rooted in her faith and family. She and Dan have been married for 44 years, and their family includes daughter Allison (married to Todd) and son Aaron, a physician in Oklahoma. They are proud grandparents to four grandchildren, including the inspirational Haley.

She often draws strength from a favorite scripture: “One plants, one waters, but God brings forth the harvest.”

“I share that verse when I’m coaching,” Kim says. “Because it reminds us—we don’t do this alone. So many people have poured into my life—planting seeds, watering my path—and God has been faithful to bring the harvest.”

She offers special gratitude to Charles and Gordon, the two brokers who guided her early in her career. “They helped shape me. Their investment in me is something I’ll always carry forward.”

Advice for New Agents

What advice does Kim offer to those just starting out?

“Learn all the moving parts,” she says. “There’s so much more to this business than showing beautiful properties. It takes strategy, service, and serious diligence to succeed.”

She encourages new agents to focus on stamina and structure. “I start my days with prayer and a workout. You need physical, emotional, and spiritual strength to do this work well.”
