It’s rare to meet someone who has spent their entire life in real estate, but for Breann Green, it’s not just a career; it’s in her DNA. A third-generation real estate agent with roots deeply planted in Oklahoma soil, Breann closed her first deal before she could legally toast to it. At just 18 years old, she dove headfirst into the business and never looked back.
Today, with over 3,000 homes sold and $630 million in career volume, Breann Green is not only the Broker and Team Leader of The Homes by Breann Team, she’s a powerhouse in the Oklahoma City market with a mission to build up others along the way.
Born for the Business
“I never really planned to become a REALTOR®,” admits Breann. “Growing up, our home number was on the 'For Sale' sign. There was no off switch.” Still, her grandfather had a hunch. “He told me to get licensed my senior year in high school as a backup plan for college. He knew what he was doing.”
Breann was just weeks away from turning 18 when he passed away unexpectedly. The loss was heartbreaking, but it became a catalyst. “He believed in me before I believed in myself. After that, I knew I had to make this work.”
And she did. With her father, Gordon Watson, the Broker of Hamilwood Realty, and her real estate coach, Mike Ferry, mentoring her, Breann carved her own path. “I told Dad to teach me, but don’t give me anything. I need to earn it.”
A Family Affair
Breann grew up immersed in the business. Her father and grandfather were both top-producing agents. She recalls dialing through the phone book as a 12 year old. If someone would answer, she would hang up, highlight the number, and give it to her father. This allowed her dad to only call people who were actually home to answer. “I remember begging my dad, ‘Can we please listen to something other than sales cassettes?!’” she laughs. But all that early exposure to Mike Ferry conferences and high-level sales talk clearly left its mark.
Now, she runs her own branch office with The Homes by Breann Team, a team of 25 full-time agents who share her drive, energy, and commitment to excellence. “It’s about developing incredible real estate agents who serve buyers and sellers at the highest level.”
And it’s still very much a family business. Her husband, Zach, joined the company in 2021 and serves as director of operations, managing the business side while also investing in real estate. “I couldn’t do it without him,” she says. “He handles the parts I don’t have time to. His strengths are my weaknesses. We balance each other so well.”
Rising from Rock Bottom
Breann’s path hasn’t been without challenges. In 2016, she became a single mom following a divorce, an experience that tested every fiber of her being. “That was one of the biggest catalysts in shaping who I am today,” she shares. “There was no option but to succeed. I had to figure it out, for myself and for my daughter, Ava.”
And she did. “In 2020, I closed and pended 210 deals. I changed the trajectory of my life,” she says. Remarried and with a blended family, 11-year-old daughters Ava and Lyla, 2-year-old Emma, and a new baby on the way, Breann has created the balance she once thought impossible. “You can be present for your family and still run a successful business. You don’t have to choose.”
Passion and Purpose
These days, Breann’s passion lies in mentorship. She’s a certified divorce expert, an advocate for clients navigating major life transitions, and a coach to agents who want to level up their business and their lives.
“Success leaves clues,” she says. “Every successful person I know has a coach, a mentor, or someone who tells them the truth even when it’s hard to hear. You can’t get complacent. If you want this, commit to it. Fully.”
Her team culture is built on integrity, service, and constant growth. “We’ve had so many agents come to us from other brokerages and completely transform their careers. That’s what fires me up…helping other people realize what’s possible in real estate.”
What doesn’t show up in her bio is the village behind the scenes. “I couldn’t do what I do without my team, my staff, and the people who help me at home. True success isn’t solo, it takes a support system. And I’m incredibly grateful for mine.”
The Woman Behind the Brand
When she’s not closing deals or coaching agents, Breann is fully engaged in her family life. “We’re super involved in our kids’ lives,” she says. She also makes time to move her body every day…working out, listening to audiobooks, and staying sharp through personal development.
She and Zach love to travel and explore, but home is where her heart is—surrounded by her children, her husband, and the life she built through grit, grace, and a relentless belief in what’s possible.
Advice to Aspiring Top Producers
Breann’s advice is straightforward and impactful:
Get a mentor that has had success in real estate.
Be consistent.
Identify your “why.”
And above all—dream really big!
“It can disappear as quickly as it came,” she says. “Keep learning. Keep showing up. Be the best version of yourself, every day.”
