Angel Morris, a real estate agent with Lime Realty, has a story that blends resilience, determination, and a deep commitment to family. Almost three years ago, Angel made the transition from a successful career in direct sales to the world of real estate—a shift born not just from opportunity, but from necessity and the desire for a new focus after a personal tragedy.

“I was in direct sales with Pure Romance for 11 years, and I loved it,” Angel recalls. She was part of the company’s board of directors for six years, traveled extensively, and ranked among the top 0.05% of 30,000 women. But when the company shifted away from its original model, her team-based income vanished, prompting Angel to rethink her career. Then came the unthinkable: the loss of her son, Noah, who passed away unexpectedly at the age of 20 from Addison’s disease.

“About three months after he passed, I started taking the real estate license course,” Angel shares. “It gave me a way to focus, to get my brain on something else. Grieving the loss of a child is something you can’t explain until you go through it—it makes your brain hard to even function for months.”

Seamless Transition into Real Estate

Angel’s sales background made the leap into real estate smoother than she expected. “I had already been trained by some of the top sales professionals,” she says, referencing her Pure Romance experience with renowned speakers and advanced sales trainings. Coupled with a large social media following, her first house sale came within a month or two of starting.

Her day-to-day work as a real estate agent reflects both her skill and her personality. “I love negotiating. I like to win,” she says with a smile. “I enjoy figuring out how to get through the difficult parts of a transaction. And I adore looking at houses, especially unusual or mid-century homes. Helping first-time homebuyers is also a favorite part—I break it down for them so it feels manageable rather than overwhelming.”

Family at the Center

Family is a constant motivator for Angel. She and her husband, Mark, have eight children, ranging in age from 16 to 30, and two grandchildren. The family has had an adventurous past, including running a theater company before moving into sales. Angel emphasizes that her drive isn’t just about professional success; it’s about providing for her loved ones and being there for them in tangible ways.

“I’m actually helping my 21-year-old daughter buy her first house right now,” Angel says, excitement in her voice. “It’s within a mile of my house, and we found a great deal for her. Being able to support my family in these ways—that’s what it’s all about.”

Passions Beyond Work

Even with a busy career, Angel prioritizes her hobbies and personal interests. Art collecting, redecorating, and remodeling keep her creatively engaged, while comedy shows, outings, and spending time with her children and grandchildren offer joy and relaxation. “I love going to the Thunder games, collecting original art from local artists, and doing fun projects around the house. And, of course, spending time with my family is the biggest thing,” she notes.

Building Relationships

A natural connector, Angel values relationships above all. Her clients describe her as laid-back, down-to-earth, and fun—qualities she cultivates intentionally. “I want people to see me as easygoing and approachable,” she says. “I think that helps buyers feel comfortable and confident throughout the process.”

Her social media presence also reflects her personality and relatability. With more than 10,000 TikTok followers, she shares entertaining glimpses into her life, from day-to-day home tours to quirky videos that keep her audience engaged. “People like to watch me get in bathtubs,” she laughs. “It’s weird, but it’s true!”

Looking Forward

Angel Morris’s journey illustrates the power of perseverance, adaptability, and the importance of community. From managing life-changing loss to embracing a new career with skill and enthusiasm, she has carved a path that inspires both clients and family alike. Whether negotiating the perfect deal or cheering on a first-time homebuyer, Angel brings a blend of professionalism, warmth, and tenacity to every challenge.

For Angel, success isn’t measured solely in sales figures—it’s in the lives she touches, the families she supports, and the joy she finds in both her career and personal passions. Her story is one of transformation, proof that even after profound loss, it’s possible to build a future filled with purpose, connection, and a little fun along the way.
