For Jennifer Miracle, real estate has never been about closing deals. It has always been about opening doors to meaningful relationships and helping people navigate some of life's biggest transitions with confidence, compassion, and trust.
A REALTOR® with ERA Courtyard Real Estate, Jennifer entered the profession in 2012 after what she originally expected would be a practical next step for her business. Instead, she discovered a career that perfectly aligned with who she is at her core—a helper, a problem solver, and someone who genuinely enjoys walking alongside others through important moments in their lives.
"I realized I didn't have to be salesy in this business," Jennifer said. "The job was really about helping people. Once I realized that, I knew I had found the job I was meant for."
An Unexpected Career Path
Long before becoming a full-time REALTOR®, Jennifer wore many hats. She cut hair, worked as a makeup artist, volunteered extensively at her children's school, served as PTO president, and spent time renovating homes.
Initially, earning her real estate license was simply intended to support her investment projects. But after experiencing firsthand how rewarding it was to help buyers and sellers, she quickly realized she had found her calling.
For about a year and a half, Jennifer balanced both real estate and cosmetology before making a decision that proved surprisingly easy.
"I knew I couldn't keep doing both forever," she recalled. "Real estate was where I belonged."
More than 14 years later, she has never looked back.
Relationships Above Everything Else
Ask Jennifer what she enjoys most about her career, and her answer has very little to do with contracts or negotiations.
"I love walking through the transitions of life with my clients," she said.
Whether helping first-time buyers, growing families, empty nesters, or individuals navigating difficult circumstances such as divorce, Jennifer understands that buying or selling a home is often tied to significant emotional milestones.
Having experienced her own personal challenges, including a difficult divorce, she believes those experiences have given her a unique perspective and greater empathy.
"I've been through a lot in life," she said. "If I can take those experiences and make someone else's journey a little easier, that's incredibly rewarding."
She especially enjoys helping clients see that even life's most difficult seasons can lead to brighter days.
"There is so much beauty on the other side," she said.
Built on Trust
Jennifer's business has grown almost entirely through relationships.
Many of her earliest clients first met her through volunteer work at local schools or community activities. They had already watched her lead, organize, communicate, and serve others long before they ever needed a REALTOR®.
Those relationships continue today.
She still works with clients she met at an open house nearly a decade ago and now helps the adult children of many of her earliest clients purchase their first homes.
"I love being known as their family REALTOR®," Jennifer said. "That's an incredible honor, and I don't take that responsibility lightly."
Her philosophy is simple: earn trust, deliver exceptional service, and let relationships grow naturally over time.
A Heart for Service
Jennifer's passion for serving others can be traced back to her childhood.
Raised by a single mother, she and her siblings often helped perform yard work for church members to help support their family.
One experience has stayed with her for more than four decades.
After working hard in a neighbor's yard, the homeowner handed young Jennifer a five-dollar tip while praising her work ethic.
That simple act of encouragement became a lifelong source of motivation.
"It made such an impression on me," she said. "I still think about it today."
That same appreciation now shapes the way she treats her own clients.
Recently, Jennifer began baking homemade sourdough bread, often surprising clients with fresh loaves as a small expression of gratitude.
"My business is built on relationships and gratitude," she said. "I love finding ways to let people know how much I appreciate them."
Family is at the heart of life for Jennifer. As she says, “They are 100% my why. They are what gets me out of bed every day even on the rainy dreary days when all you want to do is curl up with a book and a blanket. My family includes Steve Giglio, my husband who I just celebrated my first anniversary with, my three kids Alex, Julia and Whitley (my assistant since she was 2 days old), and my stepdaughters Madilyn and Gabbi.”
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys traveling and seeing new places.
Her ERA family is also an essential part of her success. “I've been there since I started and have been supported by a great broker Jeff Langum, and have an incredible collaborative work family.”
Always Showing Up
Jennifer believes success isn't measured by transaction totals but by consistency, dependability, and keeping promises.
In addition to residential real estate, she has quietly built a thriving property management business through referrals alone, now overseeing more than 50 properties without ever actively marketing the service.
She also serves on her brokerage's relocation team, where she has learned the importance of clearly communicating her value while continuing to deliver exceptional service.
Throughout every chapter of her career, one lesson has remained constant.
"Get one person to trust you," Jennifer advises new agents. "Take really good care of them, and they'll send you two more."
It's advice she has lived every day.
When Jennifer hopes people describe her, the words are straightforward but meaningful: trustworthy, dependable, hardworking, and someone who always shows up.
Given the relationships she has built over the past 14 years—and the generations of families who continue to place their trust in her—those qualities are exactly what define both her career and the legacy she continues to build.
